The Song Within Sedona (2011)

This documentary/art piece - which had a pre-release title of "Wise Women of Sedona", the first film for filmmaker Kathy Douglas - is an exploration of the basic belief that wisdom is everywhere. The film explores the idea of what would happen if people took the time to look deeply in their own communities, what discoveries and treasures would be uncovered. The film highlights 16 extraordinary Sedona women whose stories teach, entertain and inspire. Through stunning cinematography that reveals the breathtaking and mystical red rocks of Sedona, music that lifts the spirit, and monologues from women of different lifestyles, this art piece/documentary gives an experience that inspires the humanity in us all.
